Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and CFO for the United States Naval Academy Foundation & Alumni Association, where he led financial reporting modernization efforts, reorganized treasury operations, oversaw five consecutive clean audits, and completed a new $40 million Alumni Center project.
His previous experience includes senior financial leadership roles with the Baltimore Orioles, Bloomberg/BNA, Rosetta Stone, and Viacom/BET. Gast holds an MBA and a BS in Finance from the University of Baltimore.
“Bob brings an impressive depth of financial leadership and a proven record of strengthening complex organizations,” said Kent County Commissioner Albert Nickerson. “His steady, experienced approach to fiscal management will serve Kent County well as we continue to prioritize transparency, accountability, and long-term stability.”
