Fun Fact: This Maryland County Has a Festive Spring PEEP®show Every Year!

The Carroll County Arts Council will be hosting the 19th Annual PEEP®show this year, a sweet fundraising event featuring marshmallow masterpieces.

Each participant crafts a piece of art, such as sculptures, dioramas, mosaics, or even videos.  The only requirement – to be crafted from or inspired by PEEPS®!  Entries each year range from Disney characters, recreations of classic paintings, building models and more.

PEEPshow – Carroll County Arts Council

Beginning in 2007, this unique tradition was founded as an annual fundraiser to support all non-profit arts programming in the county.  The PEEP®show fundraiser is made possible with the support of Just Born®, which has been making PEEPS® since 1953.

The Carroll County Arts Council was founded to promote the Arts, art education, and diverse cultural expression.  The organization is more than just a yearly holiday event.  They also host live concerts, classes, exhibitions, theatre, films, camps, and more to inspire creativity in the community.

The show is also a competition, and votes can be submitted by viewers in person and online.  Different award categories include Top 10 Audience Choice Awards, Top Video Award, Artistic Excellence Winners, Sponsors Choice Award, and the Online Sensation Award.  Viewing the PEEP®show is free to everyone, but votes can be purchased with all proceeds benefiting the Carroll County Arts Council.

The show is currently open to the public at the TownMall of Westminster at 400 N Center Street, Westminster, MD 21157.  The exhibition is open from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM. Additionally, on Sundays & Easter, Noon – 6:00 PM. In celebration of Easter this weekend, be one of the thousands of viewers and support the Carroll County Arts Council!
