The Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) is proud to announce the addition of two county leaders to its Board of Directors.
Julie Giordano, County Executive of Wicomico County, and Aisha Braveboy, County Executive of Prince George’s County, have joined the Board to help guide MACo’s mission of promoting effective and efficient government across Maryland’s counties.
“We welcome County Executives Giordano and Braveboy to MACo’s Board of Directors,” said Michael Sanderson, MACo Executive Director. “Their dedication to public service and strong commitment to their communities will enrich our work and strengthen our collective voice for Maryland’s counties.”
County Executives Giordano and Braveboy bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in public service to MACo’s Board. Giordano, elected in 2022, made history as the first woman to serve as County Executive in Wicomico County. Braveboy, formerly the State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County, has been a strong advocate for public safety and community partnerships. Together, their leadership will be invaluable as MACo continues to advocate for county priorities and foster collaboration among local governments
MACo looks forward to working with County Executives Giordano and Braveboy as they contribute their perspectives and expertise to the Board.
