Prince George’s County has announced the release of the Fiscal Year 2025 Green Book.
The Green Book assists County-based businesses in navigating the local government procurement process by providing an agency-by-agency overview of spending availability that includes the annual forecast for the Office of Procurement (OOP). This year’s spending goal is $142 million, as the County identified a number of opportunities for County-based small and County-based minority businesses. The Green Book currently available online at Green Book | Prince George’s County.
“The Green Book is one of our best tools for local business inclusivity in the County’s procurement strategy. We continually seek ways to increase a larger percentage of spending to support businesses based here in the County, and this year’s $142 million spending goal is no exception,” said Purchasing Agent Director Dickerson. “When County businesses thrive, our residents thrive too. And leveraging Prince George’s County government resources to benefit County-based businesses will help ensure that all Prince Georgians benefit throughout 2025 and beyond.”
In addition to the PDF version of the book, the website is equipped with an interactive Spend Data Dashboard that will provide for opportunities in a variety of ways. Find out more on the county website
