MACoCon’s Tech Expo, which will take place on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, will feature intense hands-on immersion in new and developing technologies. The exhibit hall will host 60 technology-focused vendors.

MACo’s 2024 Summer Conference, “Turning the Tide,” will examine ways counties can, with an eye on the future, foster and fund county priorities like planning for sustainable growth, modernizing mental health and public safety services, and advancing our education system, among others.

As always, the conference will feature four days of educational sessions, meetings, briefings, and a two-day tradeshow with 300+ exhibiting companies.

MACo’s Wednesday Tech Expo has become a much-anticipated feature of the conference, hosting 60+ tech vendors to showcase tools and solutions to help government streamline functionality and increase security. On Wednesday, August 16, participants will learn what’s next for county governments on the technology frontier. The sessions will focus on the hottest tech issues of the day: what advances in artificial intelligence and chatGPT mean for government services, how virtual reality can enhance emergency services training, and the impact of facial recognition technology on public safety.
