The Maryland Historical Trust’s FY2024 Historic Preservation Capital Grant Program application is live!

The Historic Preservation Capital Grant Program promotes the acquisition, restoration, and rehabilitation of historic properties in Maryland. Eligible properties are limited to those listed in or determined eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. A total of at least $600,000 is available for grants each year. Only online applications are accepted.

The deadline to apply is March 18, 2024 at 11:59pm EST. 

Previously recorded grant webinars can be found on MHT’s YouTube Channel and include general program information, details about conveying an easement, eligibility and match requirements, specifics for religious sites, and recommendations on how to best answer application questions.
