Fun Fact: Where Can You Enjoy Fall Festivities in Maryland?

Pumpkin patches, apple orchards, hayrides! These all represent many family fall traditions.

Throughout Maryland during the months of September and October you can experience many of the fun filled fall festivities. Each location is unique and offers fun for the whole family.  Below are only a few of the places offering many of these fun events.


 Butler’s Orchard – Family run farm. You can enjoy live music and food vendors in addition to your traditional hayrides, pumpkin patch, giant slides, corn mazes and more.


Summers Farm – Working farm that offers your traditional fall favorites as well as apple cannons, animals, a treasure hunt and even a fireworks show!


Gaver Farm – In addition to our fall favorite activities they also have an apple orchard, and a farmer’s market.


Jumbo’s Pumpkin Patch – Free entry! Smaller patch but also includes petting zoo, pony rides, and face painting.


Larriland – Smaller farm but free entry. Offers a 20- minute hayride that goes through decorated woods, a stream, a straw field and a haunted barn.


Baugher’s Orchard – Pony rides, hayrides, pumpkin patch, apple orchards and more!


Homestead Farm – Apple orchards, pumpkin patch, and weekend refreshments.


Rock Hill Orchard & Woodbourne Creamery – Come pick your own pumpkins and find your way through two corn mazes. Enjoy ice cream and see the cows that live on the farm.


Montpelier Farms – Enjoy fall favorites in addition to gem stone mining, scarecrow workshop, pumpkin painting and more.


Queen Anne Farm Inc – Find pumpkins that range from 2 ounces to 200 pounds! End your visit with a trip to the farm store.


Clark’s Elioak Farm – Take a ride on the Enchanted Express Train and see the Fairy Forest. Schools can plan their field trips too.


Lohr’s Orchard – Pick your own apples and pumpkins. Visit the food stand for homemade jellies, jams and honey.
