White House Announces Free COVID Tests Back in Stock

As temperatures cool off and flu season continues to pick back up, the federal government is once again offering free at-home COVID-19 tests.

Montgomery County and other local health departments are helping to raise awareness of new COVID test kits that are available. Every household can register today to receive four free at-home kits. Sign-up here.

The White House announced kits can be shipped straight to home locations. An ample supply of in-home materials can ensure that anyone unknowingly carrying the virus can limit exposing others while getting the vital information they need in order to take appropriate precautions. Low and no-cost options beyond this newest distribution program will remain in effect for resource scarce individuals through outreach services.

The U.S. government will continue to make COVID-19 tests available to uninsured individuals and underserved communities through existing outreach programs.
