Town of North EastThe final award of the morning was the Tourism Person of the Year. This person is an entrepreneur who understands the importance of visitor experience, creativity, and partnership. In his early years of working in the industry, he listened to visitors and took to heart a frequent wish to experience the water. That lead to the opening of his paddling business which has been a huge success. He enthusiastically hosts travel writers, helps with projects, and supports tourism efforts.
