Wicomico Launches Emergency Rental Assistance Program Online Application

On March 1, Wicomico County launched their Emergency Rental Assistance Program online application.

Wicomico County, through a grant from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, was awarded $7,380,680 in funds to assist Wicomico County residents in need of emergency rental and utility assistance.

According to a County press release:

Contracted through Neighborly Software and funded through the ERAP grant, the online application process will allow real-time tracking of applications and updates as the application is reviewed and in process. The portal will also allow landlords to login and track progress, upload documents and streamline the application process.

The online application is available in 12 languages and is mobile friendly. Paper applications will continue to be accepted at the three partner
locations;

– Shore Up, Inc.
– Salisbury Neighborhood Housing Services
