Transformation to the Grid of the Future: Maryland Clean Energy Center Hosts FREE Webinar

Maryland Clean Energy Center to host a free webinar to discuss the grid of the future, Tuesday, September 14, 10:30AM. 

“Regulators are implementing directives to transform the grid for the future. What impacts can ratepayers and consumers expect to result from FERC Order 2222 and the Maryland PC 44 process? This session examines the deployment of distributed resource markets for load balancing and reliability, and how asset owners get paid to play for distributed energy, demand response, microgrid, and storage assets” (MCEC).

The panel will be moderated by Jason Stanek, Chairperson of the Maryland Public Service Commission. Panelists include: Delegate Lorig Charkoudian, who serves on the House Economic Matters Committee; Owen Brady-Traczyk, Manager at Future of Heat, Non-Pipeline Alternatives at National Grid’s consumer group; Molly Knoll, Senior Commission Advisor at the Maryland Public Service Commission; and Ken Seiler, Vice President of Planning at PJM.
