MACo Welcomes New Policy Team Member D’Paul Nibber

The MACo Staff gladly welcomes D’Paul Nibber, who joins the policy team as Associate Director.

D’Paul Nibber joins MACo with credentials from both Baltimore City and the offices of multiple General Assembly members.

“D’Paul brings a background working directly with local elected officials, and also with front-facing local services,” said Executive Director Michael Sanderson. “He will complement MACo’s mission ideally and should be a terrific asset for our policy work on behalf of counties.”

Mr. Nibber comes from his position as Director of Legislative Affairs at the Baltimore City Health Department, where he oversaw the adoption of most Department priority bills throughout the 2018-2021 Maryland General Assembly sessions. Prior to his Health Department role, Mr. Nibber served as the Legislative Services Analyst at Baltimore City Council. He has prior experience working for legal institutions and not-for-profit organizations..

Mr. Nibber holds a dual degree in Government and Politics and Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park and a law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore.
