Queen Anne’s County announced last week a new nonprofit assistance fund.
The Queen Anne’s County Nonprofit Assistance Fund will be accepting grant applications until July 30th. Use of funds and eligibility requirements are available on the County’s Economic Development website.
According to a County press release:
This assistance fund has been created to aid nonprofits in fulfilling their mission and outreach goals which includes adjusting operations due to the pandemic.
Funds are to be utilized for expanding program services to meet the needs of Queen Anne’s County residents and its businesses.
It is projected that grant awards will range from $1,000-$10,000. Greater amounts may be awarded to organizations with larger employee counts and demonstrated need.
Funding has been provided by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development
