Mayor Brandon Scott Has Named Natasha Mehu, Longtime MACo Staffer, to Lead Office of Government Relations

Natasha Mehu, familiar to the MACo family as a six year member of the Association’s policy team, will continue her policy work in Annapolis, leading the Office of Government Relations for new Baltimore City Mayor Brandon Scott.

Mayor Brandon M. Scott is announcing another top position in his administration this morning: the selection of Natasha Mehu to serve as Director of the Mayor’s Office of Government Relations. The Mayor’s Office of Government Relations coordinates Baltimore’s interaction with the city, state and federal legislative affairs offices, as well as the city comptroller’s office, and serves as the liaison between the city and other governments.

“Building a team that can advocate for Baltimore and forge a more transparent, equitable and accountable city is of the utmost importance to me,” said Mayor Brandon M. Scott. “I have full confidence in Natasha’s ability to build strong working relationships with our local, state and federal partners for the benefit of Baltimore residents.”
