Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing Sites Open in Maryland

As reported in The Baltimore Business Journal the Governor has announced three new drive-thru COVID-19 testing sites in Glen Burnie, Waldorf, and Bel Air and an additional testing site at FedEx Field:

There is no charge for testing at any of these sites, but testing remains limited, [Governor Larry] Hogan said.

Maryland Deputy Health Secretary Fran Phillips noted that to be tested, people must have symptoms and have an order from a medical provider or an appointment, and be in a high-priority group. High-priority groups include those over age 65, first responders and health care providers, people who live in group homes and anyone determined by their health care provider to be “medically unstable.”
