MPCA members have expressed a strong interest to address the multitude of changes regarding housing trends in Maryland. This year, the MPCA conference will host a variety of expert panelists in the housing field, with state, local, private, and public sector specialists presenting the most current housing strategies and answering questions from conference attendees. We will cover topics pertinent to the changing needs of your community, including:

  • Accessory dwelling units
  • Short term rentals
  • Tax-incentivized development
  • Community involvement in housing projects
  • Workforce housing
  • Affordable housing / Vouchers
  • And much, much more!

With more than 1,400 citizen planners serving Maryland’s counties and municipalities, the conference in Aberdeen will provide one of the largest gatherings of citizen planners, elected officials, and local staff in the state.  Join us and contribute your knowledge and experiences with others!

We hope you plan to join the MPCA board and Maryland Department of Planning Staff for the housing trends panel, on November 6th and 7th in Aberdeen, Maryland.
