In this MACo Summer Conference session, experts will give an overview of how to build a plan that involves all necessary decision-makers and first responders and how to share next steps and updates with residents.

    • Description:  Your county is in crisis. It’s a flood…a hurricane…or another dangerous event where connecting quickly counts – residents need your help and need to know what to do to be safe. What’s your county’s plan? This hands-on exercise will put you into the shoes of a county decision-maker so you can learn from the “boots on the ground” experience. Planning, outreach, and cross-agency coordination are all part of your response – but how do you bring it all together when the chips are down?
