Nicole Acle has been selected to fill the District 2 vacancy on the Wicomico County Council.
Acting with a fast-approaching deadline, the members of the Wicomico County Council unanimously selected Nicole Acle to fill the vacant District 2 seat. The vacancy arose weeks ago when then Council Member Marc Kilmer announced his intention to resign and leave to attend to family matters in Idaho.

From coverage in the Salisbury Times:
Acle will be the sole woman sitting on the council, just over four years since the last woman was on the council, according to councilman Larry Dodd.
“I look forward to serving my constituents,” the business owner and local volunteer said.
Acle was among a short list of nominees submitted by the county Republican Central Committee. She will serve through the 2020 election, where the county charter calls for a replacement election for the balance of the four year term.
Current District 37A Delegate Sheree Sample-Hughes served on the Wicomico COunty Council from 2006 to 2014.
