New Tri-County Bus Connection Unites Calvert to a St. Mary’s Veteran Home

The Calvert County Department of Community Resources Public Transportation Division has created Southern Maryland’s first tri-county public transit connection uniting Calvert, St. Mary’s, and Charles County. It includes a route from Calvert County to the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in St. Mary’s County.

The bus will run Monday through Friday beginning on Feb. 5.

Riders from all three counties may take the new connection for FREE from Feb. 5-9.

Calvert is the home to approximately 9,000 veterans, who now have free transportation to Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

The Maryland Transit Authority was a funder and co-developer of the project.
