
According to the Capital Gazette,
“I’ve kept up with what’s happening at the state level, and especially how what happens at the state level impacts our local jurisdictions like the county governments,” Walker said. “I think I could have an impact there, and right now there aren’t any of the House members that are in the district that have served at the local level.”
Walker currently serves as First Vice President on the Maryland Association of Counties (MACo) Board of Directors and serves on MACo’s legislative committee.
