The National Association of Counties (NACo) and the National League of Cities (NLC) joint task force addressing the opioid epidemic released a final report, “A Prescription for Action” on November 17 with recommendations for local, state and federal leaders.

NACo will be holding a webinar to discuss the reports findings and recommendations, as well as to invite comments and questions from local officials from across the country who are working to address the opioid crisis in their communities. As previously reported on Conduit Street, this national task force of city and county leaders was charged with conducting national dialogues, developing educational opportunities for local governments, and publishing a national summary on tackling opioid and heroin abuse.
