The General Assembly approved the Budget Conference Committee Report today, the last step in their budget process. The Conference Committee is composed of House and Senate Budget Committee Members.
The Conference Committee Summary Document highlights how the 2017 budget maintains the State’s Commitment to public schools and focuses resources on substance abuse treatment and opioid addiction. Strong and smart funding for public school construction and addressing drug problems across Maryland’s counties were MACo initiatives for this legislative session.
