A November 30 Baltimore Business Journal article provided an interactive map showing where medical cannabis dispensaries have applied to operate in the state. Click on the article link to access the map. As previously reported on Conduit Street, Maryland has received 811 dispensary applications spread throughout the state. Statute limits dispensaries to no more than two in each of the state’s 47 Senatorial Districts. The article also highlighted several districts with high levels of dispensary applications.
Maryland Senate District 46, which wraps around the Inner Harbor, is a hot spot for wannabe medical marijuana dispensaries.
The Natalie M. LaPrade Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission received 29 applications for dispensaries in the South Baltimore district, the most in the state. Senate District 11 around Rockville also received 29 applications; Senate District 11 in Baltimore County received 26 dispensary applications.
