The Rural Maryland Council (RMC) is hosting its 2015 Rural Summit: “Aspire Rural Maryland” in December and will feature discussions on agriculture, community and economic development, and health care. The summit will take place on December 3 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the DoubleTree Hotel in Annapolis (210 Holiday Court, Annapolis, MD 21401). Registration is $50 and includes a continental breakfast, the Rural Impact Awards Luncheon, and evening networking reception. Further information from the Council’s email announcement:

- Panel discussions with elected officials
- Panel discussions with State leaders
- Sessions on: Agriculture, Community Development, Economic Development, and Health Care
This event will provide registrants an opportunity to hear from and interact with elected officials and state leaders on efforts to improve quality of life in our state’s rural areas. Make sure your voice is heard!
The day’s event will also include the 2015 Rural Impact Awards Luncheon recognizing individuals and organizations that have contributed to the improvement of rural Maryland.
