The final regional summit for the Maryland Heroin and Opioid Emergency Task Force will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 9am-1pm at the Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center in Silver Spring.

The D.C. area summit will focus on Prince George’s and Montgomery counties. Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford and the Task Force members will hear from the respective County Executives as well as local experts and residents who wish to share information about how the heroin and opioid epidemic is affecting their region and provide recommendations to address it.
