For those watching the schedule of bill signings for May 12, there is some news — but not the final word yet.

The list of bills originally scheduled for April 28 will be the morning signing sessions, starting at 9am. The list includes the “repeal” of the stormwater fee mandate, changes to the Maryland Public Information Act, and scores of other bills.

The list of bills to be signed later in the morning at 11am has not yet been released, but is likely to include MACo’s drug treatment initiatives, among other topics of county interest. Several bills have been the topic of some political discussions since the session’s end, and the Governor’s decision whether to sign or veto will be closely watched.
