The Maryland Local Government Health Cooperative (MLGHC) was established in 2010 by The Benecon Group in partnership with the Local Government Insurance Trust (LGIT) to assist Local Governments in the Self-Funding of their Group Health Insurance program in a safe and secure environment. The Self-Funded Health Insurance Cooperative environment will help employers save precious premium dollars while providing outstanding coverage to their employees.
