Cecil and Wicomico Counties Receive LGIT Best Practices Awards

At its Annual Meeting on October 30, LGIT honored two counties for their best practices — part of the Trust’s longstanding commitment to recognize excellent work among its member governments.

Cecil County received the 2014 Training Award, based on their commitment to staff training offerings and hosting several events to provide staff enrichment through the past year.

Wicomico County received the 2014 Risk Management Award, citing their county staff’s commitment “to put safety and reduction of loss at the forefront of their daily routine, and to call on LGIT for assistance when issues arise.”
