MACo is excited to announce that we will be holding a book club discussion as part of Summer Conference!
Join Keynote Speaker and author Mark Friedman for a discussion of his book Trying Hard is Not Good Enough: How to Produce Measurable Improvements for Customers and Communities. The keynote speaker and this book club discussion are sponsored by the Local Government Insurance Trust. Participants will delve deeper into the idea of a “cleaner, simpler, more practical” approach to leadership and getting results. Read the book before Summer Conference and then discuss it with Mark and other conference attendees in Ocean City to come away with even more ideas and practical methods to put in place when you return home from the conference. This session will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm.
