Lisanti Advances In Contested Delegate Primary

In a five way Democratic primary race for District 34A, Harford County Council Member Mary Ann Lisanti lead the primary with 28.8% of the total vote and will advance to the general election. She will be joined by Marla Posey-Moss who claimed 22.4% of the total vote.

Mary Ann Lisanti was elected to the Harford County Council in 2006 and reelected in 2010. She represents District F which includes Harve de Grace, Abingdon, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Perryman and Belcamp.  Lisanti is an active member of MACo and has served on the MACo Legislative Committee and the Education and Land Use Sub-Committees.

Lisanti and Posey-Moss will face Republican incumbent Glenn Glass and Mike Blizzard in the general election. Glass and Blizzard tallied 49.0% and 27.5% of the total republican primary vote respectively.
