The Maryland Green Purchasing Committee is holding a summer conference on environmentally preferable purchasing on July 17 from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Conference Center at the Maritime Institute, 692 Maritime Boulevard, Linthicum Heights, MD . The event is free for public purchasers and lunch will be provided.
Environmentally preferable purchasing is increasingly becoming a priority for businesses, government agencies and educational institutions. This event will provide information about the State’s Environmentally Preferable Purchasing Program and will feature educational sessions for public purchasers interested in resources the State has developed, requirements in place for State agencies, and how to develop and implement a green purchasing program.
Registration is required for the conference.
