Description: As Maryland and its counties strive to meet the water pollution requirements of the Chesapeake Bay Total Maximum Daily Load, reduce local water pollution, and address the sediment buildup behind the Conowingo Dam, the role and guidance of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has become critically important.  The audience will be able to ask questions concerning water pollution and other environmental issues directly of the EPA’s Region 3 Administrator, Shawn Garvin. (This panel concludes with a boxed lunch.)
