The Rural Maryland Council is soliciting PowerPoint presentations for the event, Ignite Rural Maryland, to be held on October 18, 2013 at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Maryland. As described by the Council,
Ignite is an exciting new presentation style that involves several people making individual 5-minute presentations on a range of subjects. Presenters utilize a PowerPoint presentation that auto-advances to a new slide every 15 seconds for a total of 20 slides. Ignites are happening around the world, and more information and many examples are available on the website igniteshow.com.
We invite you to create a presentation and be a part of Ignite! Possible subjects may be related to Rural Maryland, the topics of the Assembly, or even something a little outside the box. Ignite works best when the presentations are diverse in subject area and style, and when presenters are creative, energetic, and engaging.
Ignite Rural Maryland and a box lunch are included in conference registration for the Rural Action Assembly. More information on the conference is at ruralactionassembly.org. You can also view a tentative agenda including Ignite Rural Maryland and register here. We invite the community to participate in this exciting event, so Ignite Rural Maryland and the lunch will also be open to non-conference attendees for a flat charge of $20.
