Last week, The Daily Record announced its 2013 listing of award winners as Maryland’s top 100 women. Among the women on the list were county officials Nancy Navarro from Montgomery County’s Council and Margaret Ann Nolan from Howard County’s Office of Law. The Daily Record uses
a panel of judges consisting of business professionals and past winners from across the state select the Top 100 Women.
When selecting the top 100 women,
it is essential that the candidate prove a combination of excelling at all three levels–professionally, in the community and with mentoring.
Among other winners were other women engaged through county government enterprises, including Meisha Grimes, Community College of Baltimore County and Mary Hastler, Harford County Public Library.
MACo and the county community congratulate Council President Navarro, County Solicitor Nolan, and the other recipients on their accomplishments.
