MACo Past President and former Anne Arundel County Council Member Maureen Lamb passed away at the age of 90 from complications related to Parkinson’s. Lamb was passionate about education, social justice, the environment, and preserving Annapolis’ historical heritage.  She was a champion of the underdog and was one of the first members of Maryland’s mental health commission.  Lamb served two terms on the Anne Arundel County School Board, as well as two terms on Anne Arundel County Council.   She served as the President of MACo in 1988.
