Following debate on the Senate floor Monday morning (after several days of delay), the Senate votes to pass SB 236 by a vote of 32-15. The bill was heavily amended in the Senate, and then altered again in the House, necessitating a final vote by the Senate to concur with the House changes. With this morning’s vote, the bill is now sent to the Governor for his signature into law.
