The Spring 2012 Maryland Planning Directors’ Roundtable will be held Thursday April 5 at 9 a.m. The Roundtable brings together Maryland’s planning leadership, allowing counties and municipalities to discuss challenges relating to sustainable growth. The event provides a forum to share experiences and ideas surrounding planning best practices.
The Roundtable will take place at the DHCD Community Place Building in Crownsville. Topics to be discussed include:
- Steven D. Foster, Chief of the Access Management Division of the Maryland SHA, will share MDOT/SHA Highway Access Permit Process – Stakeholder Outreach
- Jeffrey Allenby with the Chesapeake and Coastal Service of Maryland DNR will present Technical and Financial Resources Available To Help Coastal Communities Prepare For Climate Change
- Kate Sylvester, Community Planner with MDOT, will discuss Maryland Bikeways Program: Announcing a New Funding Opportunity for Bicycle Infrastructure
- Secretary Hall’s State Planning Report and Legislative Update
