State Treasurer Delays Bond Sale Because of Debt Ceiling Debate

State Treasturer Nancy Kopp has delayed the opening of Maryland’s $718 million bond sale until Monday of next week.  According to an AP report, the “Treasurer says her office decided to delay the opening in order to give people breathing space over the weekend to digest the debate in Washington.”
