Blaine Young, Frederick County Commissioner President

MACo’s Public Private Partnership Symposium on July 12 will focus on several public private partnerships that have successfully taken place in Maryland’s counties. Projects will be examined and attendees will have the opportunity to engage in discussion with experts on how to implement partnerships in other counties.

Blaine Young, President of the Frederick County Board of County Commissioners, will deliver closing remarks over lunch. Commission President Young has recently released a report from a consulting firm on how public private partnerships can aid Frederick County in the delivery of county services with a substantial cost savings. He will discuss this process, along with the findings of the consultant’s report and the importance of public private partnerships to county services.
