Harford County Council Member Lisanti Appointed to Historic Trail Advisory Council

Harford County Council Member Mary Ann Lisanti has been appointed to the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail Advisory Council. Administered by the National Park Service Chesapeake Bay Office, the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail is the nation’s first water-based national historic trail, stretching approximately 3,000 miles through the Bay and along its tributaries in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

Council Member Lisanti offers extensive experience in local government having served as the City Manager of Havre de Grace from 1997-2002,  elected to the Harford County Council in 2006 , and currently serves as the Executive Director of the Lower Susquehanna Heritage Greenway. Additionally Lisanti has served on MACo’s Legislative Committee and Maryland’s Sustainable Growth Commission.
