MACo congratulates two of our own staff for their newly redefined roles and responsibilities.
Michele Dinkel has assumed a new role as Member Service Coordinator, and will become MACo’s primary staff liaison to the Academy for Excellence in Local Governance, and will guide the education and training components of MACo’s services to its elected members and other county officials. She will also take a substantial role in training and development of MACo’s own staff, and will continue to participate as part of MACo’s policy team, working in a range of research projects and coordinating with several of our professional affiliate organizations.
Emily Hollis has assumed a new role as Outreach Coordinator, and will have leadership over a series of communications and promotional efforts. Emily will be the conduit for the association’s website and this blog site, and will coordinate and send out the Courthouse News electronic bulletins containing timely legislative and policy information. She will also be involved with MACo’s Corporate Partner Program, and with securing sponsors for MACo’s conferences and events.
MACo is very proud of the work both Michele and Emily have provided to county officials, and expects these redefined roles to add even more value to our staff’s ability to assist counties.
MACo is currently seeking applications for a vacant position as Meetings and Events Coordindator, with application packets due by November 29.
