“First, I want to congratulate Jack Russell on his re-election as President of the Board of County Commissioners for St. Mary’s County. His service to the citizens of this community is reflected by the support he has received from the voters.

He has demonstrated by his re-election that he is the choice of the community to lead us through the next four years. I wish him the best in that difficult task and offer to him my sincere support. It is time for us all to come together for the benefit of that which is larger than any one individual, larger than any one party.”
