According to delmarvanow.com, Somerset County Commissioners are expected to adopt a fiscal year 2011 budget during their meeting today.

Approval of the proposed $45.9 million budget is the first item on the agenda at 2 p.m.

The budget includes a slight reduction of the property tax rate from 90 cents per $100 of assessed value to 88.37 cents, which is the same as the constant yield rate.
