The Department of Legislative Services has prepared and released its summary of the Senate budget plan. The 26-page document, in .pdf format, covers the essential elements of the Senate plan, as compared to current law and to the Governor’s proposed budget. In this iterative process, the House plan will next be adopted (likely this week) and a newer version of this summary will be prepared to contrast the three alternatives prior to final reconciliation via a conference committee and final vote in the two chambers.
