NACo’s Model County Program  highlights the innovative solutions which municipal, county, and state governments have adopted  in an effort to solve both new and reoccurring issues.  The Model County Program recognizes the progressive programs from a variety of service areas, such as parks and recreation, human services, environmental protection, and community and economic development.
