Prince George’s County Executive Aisha Braveboy has named Tracy M. Benjamin, Esq. Deputy Chief Administration Officer of Economic Development. 
Benjamin served as Deputy County Attorney in the Office of Law for Prince George’s County, Maryland, where she led the Transactional Unit and provided strategic legal counsel to more than 20 County agencies.

I have full confidence in Benjamin’s abilities to elevate the county’s economic development,” said Braveboy. “She is a highly accomplishedGovernment Legal Executive and Business Development Strategist with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of law, leadership, and economic development.”
Recently, Ms. Benjamin was named General Counsel to the Redevelopment Authority of Prince George’s County, where she leads major acquisitions, leases, and redevelopment deals that drive community revitalization, infrastructure investment, and sustainable economic growth.
Benjamin’s appointment highlights the critical role that experienced leadership plays in supporting local economic development efforts. Her background in law, negotiation, and public-private partnerships positions will help guide initiatives that strengthen communities, encourage equitable growth, and attract sustainable investment. County governments across Maryland rely on similar strategic leadership to advance redevelopment, infrastructure, and business development priorities that improve the quality of life for residents.
