The Maryland Government Finance Officers Association (MDGFOA) will host its 2025 Fall Conference on Friday, October 24, at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport in Anne Arundel County.
The conference theme, Innovating Government Finance: Ethics, Efficiency, and Economic Resilience, brings together state and local finance professionals for a full day of timely sessions, practical strategies, and networking opportunities.
Attendees will hear from leading voices, including economist Anirban Basu of Sage Policy Group, who will deliver the keynote session, Monetary Masala. Other highlights include:
- A Maryland Revenue Update from Robert Rehrmann, Director of the Bureau of Revenue Estimates.
- Sessions on process innovation, Medicare planning, and performance management in local government.
- A presentation on the GFOA Code of Ethics by Mike Mucha of the national Government Finance Officers Association.
The agenda also features networking opportunities and updates on both state and national economic conditions — giving county budget and finance officials the insights they need as planning begins for FY27 and beyond.
