Queen Anne’s Community Services Recognized in Social Sector Hero Awards

Queen Anne’s County has announced that the Department of Community Services has received an Honorable Mention in Clear Impact’s Inaugural Social Sector Hero of the Year Award.

Clear Impact recognized the Department of Community Services in the Social Sector Hero of the Year Award category for its commitment to transparency in reporting data and using that information to drive continuous improvement. The department strives to provide services that help individuals and families lead full, productive lives with dignity and purpose. By offering programs and resources that sustain and enhance quality of life, they make a lasting impact on the community.

As an Honorable Mention, the Department of Community Services will receive a Results-Based Accountability Professional Certification course, valued at $2,250, to further enhance its capacity to achieve measurable outcomes for the county.
