Empowering Experience and Elevating New Talent at #MACoCon

Bridging the expertise of seasoned employees with the perspectives of emerging talent is key to building a resilient and inclusive workforce.

Workforce dynamics are evolving rapidly as employers navigate the challenges of an aging workforce alongside the need to attract and develop new talent. Older employees bring a wealth of institutional knowledge, but retaining them requires thoughtful approaches to workplace flexibility and inclusion. At the same time, building robust pipelines for young adults and non-traditional workers is essential to sustaining innovation and growth. Employers must find ways to bridge generational gaps, foster collaboration, and create environments where talent can thrive at every career stage.

Description: As workforce demographics shift, employers face the dual challenge of managing an aging workforce while also building stronger talent pipelines for young adults and non-traditional workers. This session explores strategies to support both ends of the spectrum: from embracing age diversity and the wealth of experience older employees bring to the table to investing in apprenticeship programs for young adults and non-traditional workers. Speakers will provide insights into how employers can create inclusive and productive work environments that maximize talent at all stages of life and career.
