Garrett County announces small business grants to support businesses with 25 or fewer employees within the county.
Small business grants can be crucial for maintaining the economic vitality and diversity a region, providing local businesses with the resources needed to thrive in a competitive market. Garrett County’s Small Business Marketing Grant Program offers grants of up to $1,000, covering up to 90% of eligible marketing and promotional project costs. These projects include signage, banners, print, digital, and radio advertising, business cards, brochures, website updates, memberships in business organizations, and promotional giveaways. By helping businesses enhance their visibility and market access, these grants foster innovation and reliability within the local economy.
From the press release:
“In today’s competitive market, effective marketing is crucial for the growth and sustainability of our small business community. We are delighted to continue our commitment to local businesses through the continuation of this program.” – Kim Durst, Manager of Business Development
